MickFX OBS Plugin Installer
Save the trouble of downloading plugins by using the MickFX Plugin installer. This will download every plugin MickFX needs, so you don’t need to worry about keeping track of what effect uses what plugins.
Pros:
– It saves you the trouble of downloading each individual plugin.
– It has yoshi sound effects
– I worked hard on it, using it will give me dopamine
Cons:
– This is the first program I ever made… it is 40mb, which is A LOT BIGGER than it should be. I have to remake it with a different programming language to turn it into a smaller 3mb program.
– If you don’t like yoshi, you will not like the sound effects.
Where is your OBS installation?
Go to your OBS-Studio Directory → 64bit → obs64.exe
PLEASE RUN THE PLUGIN INSTALLER AS AN ADMINISTRATOR TO AVOID ISSUES
Required OBS Plugins
Advanced Mask
Expands the masking functionalities of OBS by providing filters for users to create highly customized masks for their OBS sources and scenes. Advanced Mask is used by MickFX for webcam cropping and gradient masking.
Move Source
Used to move OBS sources. Can move them instantaneously or in a motion. Move Source is used by MickFX for every single effect.
Shaderfilter
Apply custom shaders to sources, enabling advanced visual effects and real-time transformations. Shaderfilter is used by MickFX for effects like Lego and Pixelate.
Source Clone
Lets the user clone sources to allow different filters than the original. Clone is used by MickFX for both the base foundation when using webcam, and for effects.
FX Specific Plugins
Vintage Filter – Wasted
This filter adds the ability for sources to be black & white or sepia. This is an optional filter for the GTA Wasted effect. It gives it a little bit more of an accurate color.
Dragonfly Hall Reverb – Poof
This is a VST. VSTs are installed differently so click Tutorial for a guide. Dragonfly Hall Reverb is a free and open-source reverb plugin designed for creating realistic reverb effects for your microphone. This is used for the Poof! effect to give it a little bit more depth.
