My name is MickYayger. I gave a hand at streaming and although I enjoyed it, I never made it. I wanted people to think I’m cool when they came to my stream, so I made all of these mega awesome stream effects. But then I quit streaming! I don’t want my stream effects to go to waste, so I’ve devised a system which will lets my effects work with anyone! I haven’t seen anyone else do webcam based effects, so I really hope that I’ve struck gold here and I can make a career out of this! If you ever want to collaborate hit me up!
About the creator
The webcam effects work by tracking the position and other information of the users webcam. It can then calculate where the effect should start from, go to, and end at. Some effects require the use of webcam mirrors, for example the sword slice effect. When the sword slices the webcam, it replaces the webcam with two clones of the webcam. Each clone has an image mask making the clone only show half of the webcam. It are these two clones that make it seem like the webcam is sliced in half.
